Wheeling Island Fire Station

The new 7,000 square ft. fire station on Wheeling Island houses new offices, kitchen facilities and living areas. The station has three 62’ truck bays and a 14’ x14’ hose tower. The structure has concrete spread footings and masonry bearing walls. The second floor has concrete floors supported on steel bar joists. The roofs are framed with wood trusses. The porch roof is framed with light gauge rafters.
